Our premium Thermal Printing foils (also known as thermal ribbon) are made from the highest quality materials.

Below are the key facts:

• Each foil is spooled to 50 metres length

• Supplied on a cardboard core that is 0.5" diameter

• Auxiliary (waste) core supplied with each foil
   

We also have foil options for printing on various materials.

Our 'Ribbon Printing' range is best suited for use with single and double faced satin ribbon material, but you can also work with polypropylene ribbon and test poly-satin ribbon for compatibility.

Our 'Washcare' range of foils have been specially made to withstand detergents and resist water and we primarily use this foil type for printing labels or tags that are ironed or sewn into garments.
The washcare foils can also be washed and tumble dried at 40 degrees.

The 'Sticker Printing' range can be used with self-adhesive vinyl material and will last for many years even in outdoor environments.

​If you are purchasing foils from us to use on another ribbon printer (not purchased from CPL), then whilst we are happy for you to shop with us, we cannot guarantee the print quality on any other similar printer.

Our 55mm wide foils have been specially designed to be used with our central fed ribbon printer and they are thus not suitable for use with other older left hand fed machines sold by others.
